What is Jolabokaflod, you ask? Well it’s the annual celebration of Jolabokaflod, the Icelandic Yule Book Flood! While Icelanders celebrate on Christmas Eve, Portland will be celebrating on December 12th! They are back in person with their awesome book fair and at Urbanite PDX in conjunction with the Portland Flea’s Holiday Makers’ Market!

The event is all about celebrating and supporting local Pacific Northwest indie authors. There will be loads of authors, makers, food, and drinks, so you can consider the Fourth Annual Jolabokaflod PDX your one-stop shop for the holidays. With door prizes and cozy places to sit and read as well, you can stay awhile, and meet Molly Ringle, and a host of other PNW authors.
