Mistletoe
by Walter de la Mare
Sitting under the mistletoe
(Pale-green, fairy mistletoe),
One last candle burning low,
All the sleepy dancers gone,
Just one candle burning on,
Shadows lurking everywhere:
Some one came, and kissed me there.
Tired I was; my head would go
Nodding under the mistletoe
(Pale-green, fairy mistletoe),
No footsteps came, no voice, but only,
Just as I sat there, sleepy, lonely,
Stooped in the still and shadowy air
Lips unseen—and kissed me there.

The Shore Leave Cafe Series by Abbie Williams

While it seems a little strange to release books with a summer theme in mid-winter, there’s something really nice about it too. When the snow is piling up, what better way to escape than through a romance novel set in the warm, lazy days of summer.

Abbie Williams is a romance-writer extraordinaire: she’s penned award-winning and critically acclaimed historical romance and this series of a family of women who reside on a lake in Minnesota will entice even non-romance readers. There are nine books in this series, and this winter we’re releasing the first three. The books are garnering some significant attention but we hope you like them as much as we do…

Review! Amanda on the Danube by Darlene Foster

While our books get reviewed all the time by bloggers, I’d like to repost this one of Amanda on the Danube by Darlene Foster which is written by a very professional book blogger who also happens to be a young person.

This Kid Reviews Books is run by Erik and it’s not often one finds a book blogger who is so professional and has staying power – his blog has been around for several years!
