Summer time is here, long days, warm nights, friends, family, fun. Right? Well if you live in the Pacific Northwest like I do, then unfortunately you’re not getting any of the warmth that we should be experiencing. In fact, it’s cold, really cold. It’s not even room temperature. But I’m still in the summer spirit, and hopefully the season will come and join us soon.
For July, we have a little break coming up. As many of you know, we’ve changed tack and are being more selective about what we publish. We have an amazing family of writers so far, 26 of them, but to tell you the truth, I can’t keep up at the rate of growth we were at even just 8 months ago. So, we spend more time looking at submissions and the books that are coming in. But never fear, we do have some great new releases on the way.
In early August you’ll see another new thing for us, our first bilingual release – a young adult paranormal that will be released in both English and Spanish. And later that month, another young adult – but this time contemporary and real. Two of these authors are new to our family, and we can’t wait to release their books – but we are busy toiling away with covers, editing and proofing.
So, for the next few weeks, we’re busy behind the scenes with these new releases, and a few other things of course. But during that time, I’ll be hoping for sunshine and warmth and hoping you’re all enjoying some time with family and friends…
Happy Canada Day!
